Blue Dragon, Ace Combat 6, and more!
news | 07/16/07 | Chris Martin
It actually came to Xbox Live last week, but I thought I\'d share it anyway. Both Blue Dragon and Ace Combat 6 have their own demos, but so do 2K Sports\' The BIGS, EA\'s Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and THQ\'s Stuntman: Ignition. Quite a bit to keep you busy if you don\'t have enough games already.

Featuring the Xboard \"boarding game\" controller, a funky exercise bike controller, and both baseball an golf simulators, Qmotions lineup is looking good. And the best part is, these devices are coming in at realistic prices, which, our friend Monica believes, should open up these possibilities to more mainstream gamers.

Astro Boy: Two Legends Converge
game: Astro Boy
review | 02/25/06 | RJ Brooks
Astro Boy has been praised by reviewers since its release in 2003. Another gem from Treasure, Astro Boy proves there is still some enjoyment to find in the 2D action gaming arena. A shooter/platformer in the vein of Gunstar Heroes, Astro Boy brings Osamu Tezuka\'s world reknowned character to life on the Game Boy Advance. We rarely get Astro Boy releases in the US, which is another testament to just how good this game is. Check out the conclusion to Robert\'s six-part retrospective here. Fittingly, Robert looks at how the legendary Treasure and the legendary Tezuka combine to create a GBA title that should be in every gamer\'s library.

GelTabz Review
game: GelTabz
review | 01/02/06 | Shawn Rider
GelTabz are an unlikely must-have enhancement. They are so incredibly simple they\'ll have you wondering why more game controllers don\'t make use of their innovative design. But they are so effective that once you give them a shot, you won\'t want to play without them. As natural a fit as a baseball glove and a baseball bat, GelTabz are definitely worth a closer look. King of Fighters 02/03 Review
game: King Of Fighters 2002/2003
review | 10/27/05 | Matt James
King of Figthers 2002/2003 is another doublepack from SNK highlighting quality ports of their classic franchise. This time around the fighting games get a new online versus mode, but that\'s not nearly enough to make this one appealing to anyone not already a King of Fighters fan. The series is feeling dated to the uninitiated, and for most folks, King of Fighters 2002/2003 is a pass (unless you\'re planning a fun-filled evening of gaming with your dad).

Pac-Man All-Stars Review (PC)
game: Pac-Man All-Stars
review | 09/21/02 | GF! Back Catalogue 10/2004 => 1995
If you\'ve played the older versions of Pac-Man, then you pretty much know what you\'re getting into with Pac-Man All-Stars. This title is little more than a facelift, and the replacement of the maze with more \'realistic\' 3D levels doesn\'t quite work out. Click here for more.

The 2000 Interactive Achievement Awards
Articles Archive | 01/01/00 | GF! Back Catalogue 10/2004 => 1995
The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences held their third annual Interactive Achievement Awards last Thursday, May 11, 2000 in LA. In the midst of E3, the IAAs have gained some notoriety, and with good reason. It was an all-star event, featuring Martin Short as emcee, and with celebrity guest presenters like Ahmet Zappa, Peter Molyneux, Sid Meier, and Harry Shearer. Of course, some of the winners were luminaries in their own right like Bruce Shelley, Hironobu Sakaguchi, and Will Wright. In all, it was a great evening, and some of the greatest games from the last year were given their proper recognition. Of course, there were some disappointments (Knockout Kings over Tony Hawk's Pro Skater?!?). We've summed it all up below for your viewing pleasure.
